The Road MORE Travelled

The western end of 1709 (aka Golden Triangle, Keller Parkway, Southlake Blvd.) is a mess, but it IS getting better!  Blue Leaf Realty's office is at the SE corner of Golden Triangle  and Old Denton and the amount of traffic that goes up and down this road is crazy!  Even with the construction, there is traffic at all hours of the days and night and with the fall 2012 opening of the Texas Health hospital it will only get busier.  So remember, if you are travelling this road to or from the Alliance area  - soon it will be done and all this dirt and detour will be worth it! :)

Game On!

Word is out that Dick's Sporting Goods is joining Alliance Town Center! I'm not sure how it is possible, but this area just keeps getting better and better! Don't rush out to shop just yet, it is not scheduled to open until next summer, but it's coming! :)

Winter Growth

While many think of the winter as slow times in construction, this has not been true for the North Tarrant area of Alliance.  The last two months have shown major progress on the new TexasHealth Alliance hospital at 1709 and I-35W, continued progress on the road construction of 1709, and several new restaurants opening in Alliance Town Center.  Valentine’s Day week welcomed Mi Cocina, Starbucks, and Green Tea House to the growing number of dining options.  The construction on the new Cinemark movie theater is also moving along nicely in hopes of opening this summer.   The Alliance area of north Tarrant County is gaining momentum that will only grow as we move into the Spring – exciting times!

Home Sweet Heritage Home

So many people want to make Heritage home that Hillwood is changing some of it's commercial land into a residential development!  Elm Fork is being developed with 104 single family home sites.  Builders David Weekly and Highland Homes will be meeting the growing demand for smaller homes with high end finish-outs.  Prices will begin in the mid-$200,000.  Located conveniently at the corner of Heritage Trace and Beach Street, some lucky homeowners will be minutes from Alliance Town Center and in the middle of one of the most sought after developments in North Fort Worth.  If you are looking for a larger home, Standard Pacific Homes and Toll Brothers are building beautiful homes in the The Bluffs.  Whether you are looking for a new or existing home, call Blue Leaf Realty - we'll help you find your way home!

It's a Bird! . . . It's a Plane! . . .

It's the USAF Thunderbirds!  This weekend, Oct 22 and 23,  is the Fort Worth Alliance Air Show at Alliance Airport.  If you live in the Alliance Corridor you are quite accustomed to the practice flights and the thrill of not just seeing them, but of hearing and feeling their power as they fly overhead.  The event is sponsored by Bell Hellicopter and admission is free.  Parking is $20 per vehicle so pack up your car and head on over, becuase this Saturday and Sunday the Alliance Corridor is the place to be!  (Nissan will also be at the Airport this weekend letting folks test drive the new LEAF - Blue Leaf will be there on Friday so check back to hear our review - and yes, we are hoping for a blue one! =D )

A Great Sign!

I can almost smell the fajitas!  Okay, maybe not quite, but Mi Cocina has put up the sign announcing their arrival in Alliance Town Center in "early 2012"!  Even though I already knew they were coming, there is something about seeing the sign that makes it more real.  If you have already experienced Mi Cocina, then enough said.  If you have never had the pleasure of enjoying a meal there, get ready for a treat!  If you are in the ATC area, look next door to Olive Garden and start getting ready for some great Mexican food in "early 2012"!  I know those of us from Blue Leaf Realty will be there!
